Woo, Phoenix.

Done in three tones using smudge stick. Background a composition of two of my backgrounds blended together and tweaked.

very cool, though the feet look a little strange. I guess claws would be hard to get across with a smudge stick, anyways.

Very cool. Like the transparency. Yeah, I agree with Tomecko. In fact, for a Phoenix in flight, you probably wouldn't even need to draw the feet. But other than that (and maybe changing the open mouth to closed) It looks great!
